4 teenagers, all aged 14, arrested for suspected shop theft of cash at Bedok Mall

The Bedok North NPC even put up a notice asking for information.

Four male teenagers, all aged 14, are under investigation for their suspected involvement in a case of theft in dwelling. 

 

On Aug. 18, 2019 at about 12 pm, cash was reported missing from a restaurant in Bedok Mall along 311 New Upper Changi Road.

The police were alerted to the case.

The Bedok North Neighbourhood Police Centre subsequently put up a notice asking the public for information on Aug. 20:

Teenagers identified

Through investigations and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the teenagers.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the teenagers are believed to be involved in another similar case of theft in dwelling.

 

One of the teenager will be charged in court on Aug. 21 with theft in dwelling with common intention.

Investigations are ongoing for the other three teenagers.

Anyone convicted for theft in dwelling may be jailed for seven years or fined, or both.
