Singapore's Ultimate Frisbee U24 Team has made it into the semi-finals of the World U24 Championships.

The bi-annual U24 event, held in Heidelberg, Germany saw 1,150 athletes on 51 national teams from 29 countries.

The overwhelming favourite appear to be the U.S. team.

In fact, here's a snapshot of their performance at previous games.

Whoa.

It's a tough ask, but someone has to try and take down the Goliaths.

And that someone might very well be the Singapore team.

Here's how their match with Canada went.

They triumphed over the North American team 15-11.

Singapore's coach Benjamin Ho told UltiWorld that he was "very proud of the team".

"We are happy that we have so much support from home where a lot of people watched live on a Facebook stream. We want to bring back to Singapore the confidence that we can stand shoulder to shoulder with the big ultimate nations.”
