Motorcyclist, 24, dies after accident with car at junction of Tampines St 32 & Ave 2

Police are investigating.

A 24-year-old motorcyclist died after he met with an accident with a car in Tampines on Wednesday night, July 17.

The accident occurred at the junction of Tampines Street 32 and Tampines Avenue 2 at 10.02pm.

The motorcyclist was taken unconscious to Changi General Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The driver of the car, a 29-year-old man, was arrested for causing death by a negligent act.

The police were alerted to the accident and are investigating the case.

An update on the Facebook post showing the scene of the accident said the rider passed away in hospital.
