One man in Singapore has recently dedicated a Facebook post to a "perfect role model" in his life -- his father.

His father has taught him the importance of responsibility

The son, known as Ayie Ahbotz on Facebook, pointed out that most people have athletes, movie stars and motivational speakers as their role models.

For him, however, his father is his role model.

He described how his father supported his children "even when he has no money", and has taught him to "keep going" regardless of the salary or how difficult the job is.

His father would do "whatever it takes as long as he gets his responsibilities done", he added.

In his Facebook post, he also shared some photos of his father, who appears to be working for Nee Soon Town Council.

In his post, he expressed his love for his father and said that people should cherish their loved ones.

This is the Facebook post:

Father working two jobs to support children

According to a Yahoo report, the father in question has a total of 13 children from two marriages.

To support his family, he has been a cleaner for over 20 years. He also has a second job as a housekeeper at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

The younger man featured in the photos is his 31-year-old son, Sahri Jumaat, who was previously a "delinquent".

Sahri is currently working as a mentor for ex-convicts. When he is free, he helps his father to clean up Yishun about three times a week.
