He was zebra crossed.

A person in Singapore recently came across something quite comical at Teck Whye.

The person, Kenny Ong then took to Facebook to share it with his friends.

Here is his post.

In case you can't see it, here are the images he uploaded.

"SMLJ???

Walking to the market and I saw this.

What is the purpose of building a new shelter for the people?

Want to wayang must wayang properly lah!!!"

Which seemed to imply that those who had constructed the shelter were "wayang-ing" (pretending) and stupid.

His rant was echoed by a few comments initially.

But soon enough, common sense kicked in and people started explaining why you need to build the shelter that way.

And why can't you build the shelter over the crossing straight away? Which would technically get rid of the extra step of changing the zebra crossing.

Because if they did, some people will invariably post Facebook complaints as well.

Welp.
