Facebook user Yoga Sakthivel uploaded a post on January 15 detailing his experience with a GrabFood deliveryman.

Yoga had ordered some food using GrabFood.

When the app showed that the food had been delivered, Yoga waited outside his house for the food.

After some time, he began to worry that the deliveryman had gotten lost.

At around 8.35pm, he sent a message asking the deliveryman where the food was.

To his utter shock, it turned out that the food had already been "delivered"

Just in case you're wondering whether Yoga's house is some new urban-concept area that features letter boxes right outside their gate, nope, just your plain old ground-floor letterbox area.

Which led to this rather baffling explanation.

Note, the deliveryman couldn't find the floor.

Yoga rushed down to try and salvage his food, but unfortunately could not find it.

But no worries, the deliveryman was super helpful.

Oof.

Here is his full post.

Letter

This rubbed Yoga the wrong way enough to compel him to write an email on his encounter.

Here it is.

He acknowledged that while he might have given the deliveryman the wrong address, that in no way excused the deliveryman's actions.

The way the deliveryman casually mentioned the possibility of someone having taken the food also made him rather cross.

Grab's response

A silver lining to the story is that Grab did refund him for his troubles.

Cool.
