Creative residents use IKEA laundry basket to rescue thoroughly unimpressed kitty from ledge at Jurong

Everyone was happier than the cat.

Cats are notorious for getting into tight corners.

They are more often than not agile enough to navigate these dangerous situations quite effortlessly.

Though even the best of us fail miserably sometimes.

That's why when a cat was allegedly stranded on a ledge at Teban Gardens in Jurong East, there were a concerned group of onlookers.

In it, a group of concerned residents combined a laundry basket and a plastic chain to form a sort of makeshift trap to rescue the cat.

Specifically, this laundry basket.

And it worked great.

Here is the eternally grateful cat.
