Sarah Pang is a professional tennis player from Singapore.

Recently, she shared an encounter with a Grab driver that left many heartened.

Cancelled her GrabHitch ride

According to Pang's Facebook post on Jan. 10, she had to cancel her GrabHitch ride on a particular morning.

However, in the course of the conversation between Pang and the driver, the driver happened to ask if she was the tennis player who represents Singapore.

When she answered in the affirmative, the driver replied, "Let me know if you need to head north next time in the morning. It will be a lift, not hitch. That's the least I can do to support SG athletes."

Here's a screenshot of their conversation, as shared by Pang:

Her accompanying caption reads, "When you have to cancel a Grab hitch, but your driver still finds a way to keep caring for you:) #sotouched #mySingapore"

Sweet.
