Singaporean duo Benita + Mark have been making waves this week.

And for good reasons, too.

As a tribute to  Taiwanese band Mayday's 20th anniversary in the music industry, the two local musicians have created a seven-minute music video.

The video is a mash-up of many popular tracks, such as Zhi Zhu, Ni Shi Bu Shi Zhen De Kuai LeWen Rou, and more.

Here's the video, shared to Facebook on December 11:

According to the Facebook caption, the MV was shot at various old-school locations around Singapore to immortalise their existence, before they are eventually replaced by the advent of modernity.

Since its release, the effort has gathered more than 1,110 shares and 1,300 likes.

Arrangement from scratch

Benita Cheng is a singer-songwriter and actress, while Mark Shi excels as a songwriter and arranger.

According to their Facebook page, the duo is involved in every aspect of their productions, including conceptualising, arranging, shooting, and editing.

Cheng is also one of the finalists in singing competition Project Superstar 2014.
