It all started when she promoted a shirt which one could hang chicken rice off on Facebook Live:

Subsequently, Lerine Yeo -- better known as S-hook zehzeh -- exploded online because Singaporeans just couldn't take their eyes off her.

She has since appeared on various mainstream media, including radio stations YES 933 and 97.2FM, The Straits Times, 8 DAYS, Business Insider and Shin Min Daily News.

Then she signed a two-year contract with Mark Lee, and even appeared in a Maxim Brody video.

Whew.

Selfie with Jack Neo

And it seems like Yeo's popularity will not be short-lived.

On Oct. 4, local director Jack Neo uploaded a selfie of himself and Yeo on Instagram:

The two had coincidentally met at a wedding, the caption reveals.

Another photo of the duo was uploaded by J Team Productions, a local production house founded by Neo himself:

It is widely known that the Jack Neo-Mark Lee working relationship has gone beyond acting in skits.

Singapore is so small there is a continuous talent-grab.

In a 2016 interview with Today, Lee mentioned that one of his first forays onto the stage was an opportunity given by Neo.

He had two lines on Comedy Night, a popular Channel 8 sketch show in the 90s.

However, it was an experience that allowed him to learn from Neo and Moses Lim, Lee said.

Subsequently, besides acting and hosting under Mediacorp, Lee went on to act in many of the hit movies that Neo directed, including Money No Enough, I not Stupid, and more recently, Long Long Time Ago and The Fortune Handbook.

Today, Lee has founded his own entertainment and production house King Kong Media -- and signed Yeo on in a two-year contract, of course.

(Note: It is not clear which company Lee signed Yeo to: Galaxy Media, his artiste management company that started in 2011, or King kong Media.)
