Temperatures in S'pore fall to 23.3°C air-con level suddenly on March 27, 2018

Singapore suddenly became nice and chilly on Tuesday evening, March 27 as wind and rain lashed down on most parts of the island.

Temperatures fell to 23.7°C in Clementi at around 10pm.

Pulau Ubin registed 23.3°C temperature.

Temperatures in other parts of Singapore ranged between 24 and 25.4°C.

Rain is expected to clear later in the night, but thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday afternoon, the Meteorological Service said.

Temperatures for the next four days are expected to range between 24 and 33°C, with thunderstorms in the afternoon on most days.

Prevailing northeast monsoon is expected to persist in the second half of March.

Thunderstorms are expected on five to seven days, but are expected to last around an hour or less in the afternoon, and extend into the evening on one or two days.
