Male, 19, arrested for throwing traffic cone down Tampines Block 856

A 19-year-old teenager has been arrested for committing a rash act after he was seen in a video throwing a traffic cone down an HDB block.

The incident occurred at Block 856, Tampines Street 82, on Feb. 15 around midnight.

The video, which has become incriminating evidence, was initially uploaded on Instagram Stories.

It appeared to have been recorded by the teenager's friend.

The culprit can be seen laughing in the video and hurling the traffic cone down the block.

He was standing at the staircase landing.

A police report was lodged and the male teenager was arrested for committing a rash act.

Police investigations are ongoing.

There were no injuries reported.

The maximum punishment for committing a rash act is a jail term of up to six months, a fine of up to S$2,500, or both.
