Strong, gusty winds, heavy rain, as well as endless thunder and lightning pounded the eastern parts of Singapore on Jan. 31, 2018.

Rain clouds brought inclement weather to the Bedok and East Coast Park at around 4pm, according to Singapore's heavy rain warning website.

Strong winds at East Coast Park blew over sail boats at the National Sailing Centre.

Two videos show the extent of the strong gusty winds whipping East Coast Park, with one video showing sailing boats crashing across the park and another showing a rubbish bin blown into the sea.
