Potterheads have a lot to look forward to this year.

Previously, it was announced that the equivalent of Pokémon Go for Potterheads, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite was in production.

While we haven't got more information on that end yet, here's another game that will indeed be coming our way soon enough -- Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.

This was officially announced on Jan. 18, and the mobile game is set to be released this year. It will be made available on the Google Play Store, App Store and Amazon App Store.

The game is set in Hogwarts in the 1980s, and focuses on the player as the main protagonist for the gameplay.

The player will also get to have a customised student avatar and will be able to influence key decision which impacts the outcome of the player's story.

While the timeline that the game is set in means that you won't get to see the legendary trio of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, you will still see familiar figures such as Bill Weasley and Professor McGonagall.

For more information and updates regarding the game, you can check out the official site here.
