Kind S'porean textbook seller on Carousell getting too many photo requests of her textbook

Singaporeans very good at copying.

Singapore recently discovered a genius in our midst: A student who turned to Carousell for a favour after he forgot to bring his Social Studies textbook home.

As he desperately needed pages 244 to 246, he figured he could turn to the online marketplace and convince a seller of the textbook to send photos of the pages he required.

And the seller actually did.

The story, naturally, blew up.

Increase in Carousell requests

Like any good meme, it seems that more people are trying their luck, replicating the idea of asking the same Carouseller for photos of her textbook and hoping it will work.

The Carouseller has tweeted a photo of the multiple requests she has received for photos of the textbook:

In case you can't see it:

And the second person from the bottom didn't even say "please".

Taking things a bit too far

Students aren't the only ones to catch on.

Even the Ministry of Education retweeted the original tweet:

Praising the product of your system.

Nice.
