Move over, Rooster Trump, China now has a new animal statue with an uncanny resemblance to the 45th President of the United States.

Ushering in the Lunar New Year in February next year is a massive Trump-inspired dog statue erected at the entrance of FashionWalk, a shopping mll in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, China.

Besides sporting the US president's signature hairdo, the statue's index finger is pointing upwards  a classic Trumpian gesture during debates.

The collar around the dog's neck is also red — similar to Trump's many ties.

Trump Dog

Shopping malls in China traditionally display large inflatables for the Lunar New Year.

As noted by People's Daily, Trump, 71, was born in 1946, the Year of the Dog.

So were former US Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Those born in the Year of the Dog, according to Chinese astrology, are forthright and extremely loyal.

However, they can also be self-righteous, cold, terribly stubborn, slippery and critical of others.

Should the tradition of transforming Trump into a zodiac cartoon continue, Trump would be depicted as a pig in 2019 and a rat in 2020.
