If you're on the lookout for cheap Japanese food: there's a new Japanese restaurant at Sunshine Plaza that sells Bara Chirashi Don (sushi rice bowl topped with cubed sashimi) at S$10 nett.

This one is seriously stacked! Pity they have some msg in the sauce that got me itching, otherwise 👍🏻! . . #japanesefood #charashidon #sgfood #sgfoodies #food #foodie #foodstagram #instafood #salmon #rawfood #sunshineplazasg #districtsushi @district.sushi

The bowl consists of raw salmon, tuna, and octopus, plus a poached prawn. Portions look generous enough, judging by non-sponsored reviews on Instagram.

Besides the modestly priced Bara Chirashi Don and Kaisen Don (S$12), the place -- barely three weeks old -- also offers Sashimi (mostly S$6/ three pieces), Nigiri Sushi (mostly S$4/ two pieces), Donburi (S$10), and a la carte choices.

The Aburi Duck Teriyaki + Onsen Egg (S$10) is an example. Other variations include Salmon Mentaiyaki (S$10) and Grilled Eel (S$12).
