Coins still considered money, ok.

I'm sure a lot of us have been cheated by vending machines at least once in our lives.

It's frustrating, I know.

But chances are, you would just bang the vending machine a few times and walk away in disappointment knowing that you have lost some coins in the blink of an eye.

But one Singaporean father didn't give up so easily, as shared in this following Tweet:

The Twitterer's mother discovered a letter that looked like a response to a feedback.

And then it dawned: The family found out that the Twitterer's father discreetly wrote a letter to Warburg Vending Pte Ltd when a vending machine didn't dispense his drink and S$1.30 worth of change.

Not as petty as it sounds

While this may come across as a very small ordeal, there's more to the picture.

Speaking to Mothership, Yasmin revealed that it has become a routine for her 12-year-old brother, who is diagnosed with down syndrome, to get a can of 100Plus from the same vending machine.

However, when Yasmin's father tried to get the drink for him, the machine was broken and his young son got upset.

As he didn't want his son to experience such an occurrence again, he sent a feedback to Warburg just to notify the company of the faulty vending machine.

According to Yasmin, her father just wanted the machine to be fixed and was glad that they responded quickly to the problem.

"We were just surprised that they went out of their way to refund us the coins."
