Comedian and internet sensation Pikotaro, the man behind the annoyingly catchy song, Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen (PPAP), is set to entertain U.S. President Donald Trump in his upcoming high-level visit to Japan from Nov. 5-7.

If you have by any chance, forgotten this entertainer, here's his outrageously popular PPAP music video in 2016:

Entertainment to keep the mood upbeat

According to Japan Times, Pikotaro, also known as Daimaou Kosaka, will perform for Trump and Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe "to maintain an upbeat mood" during the U.S. leader's official visit.

According to The Guardian, the song, which contains a handful of words and is just 45 seconds long, would appear to be a wise choice given Trumpโ€™s famously short attention span.

The visit to Japan will be Trump's first stop of a five-nation tour that will constitute his first official trip to Asia from Nov. 3 to Nov. 14. Other stops include South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.

The names on the list of Japanese hosts does not stop at Pikotaro. Other hosts which will join him in engaging Trump include Japan's top golfer, Hideki Matsuyama.

Pikotaro is scheduled to join a dinner party with the country leaders, which will be held the following day after the day's meetings are completed.

A viral hit

PPAP reached No 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart and became the shortest single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Within Trump's family, Pikotaro's signature song was already a huge hit.

Last year, a video of Arabella, Trump's granddaughter, singing and dancing to PPAP went viral after it was uploaded by Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, on Instagram.
