Food that isn't the food it looks like is not an entirely new concept, as Non Entrée Desserts has demonstrated.
There is, however, a certain pleasure in carrying it to the extremes — like having an entire fast food set that is actually dessert, for example.
Take a good look:
Singapore café Cake Avenue's new menu of six items does precisely that, and here are a few of the more eye-catching (and mind-bending) dishes:
The slider here (S$15.90) is made with vanilla butter cake, dark chocolate ice cream, passionfruit purée, and raspberry purée. The fries are made with the same vanilla cake as the burger buns.

This plate of nachos (S$12.90) consists of flatbread nachos, strawberry compote, chocolate mousse, julienned peach (a peach cut into small, thin strips), and pistachio ice cream.
The alphabet soup (S$8.90), on the other hand, disguises lychee mousse with bits of lychee and raspberry, and a layer of rose jelly and milk agar on top.
If confusing desserts are not your thing, the cafe also serves Western cuisine at an average S$15.
Where to find this: 33 Lorong Kilat, #01-01/02 Kilat Centre, 598132
