At 16, most Singaporeans will be preparing for the dreaded GCE 'O' and 'N' Level examinations.
But Gabrielle Ng, who goes by the nickname Gabby, just released a song about the go-to place for Singaporean teens — Somerset.
And the song, aptly named "Somerset" is a coming-of-age song and an ode to the popular shopping area, MRT station and hangout spot for local youths.
The single even has an accompanying video directed by singer-songwriter and actress, Gayle Nerva.
Produced and filmed in Somerset
As it also turns out, the song is produced by Marcus Lian, also known as fulses, in his home studio — located in Somerset.
And of course, there is no better way to embody this song than to show teenage activities at iconic places in Somerset, right?
