This week has been quite rough on SMRT.
And today provided little respite as well.
SMRT saw a series of delays along the North South Line on Thursday evening's peak hour rush.
Here are scenes from the affected areas:
At Jurong East:
At Raffles Place:
At least one East-West Line station appeared to suffer from overcrowding as well:

And here's some real-time estimation from SMRT itself:
Phase 1
Phase 2
Nubbad.
Phase 3 (with the addition of a new signalling fault?)
40 minutes!
Facebook was a bit slow to update, but they eventually got to it as well.
And that evoked some choice words from SMRT users, who felt 40 minutes might be a tad too long for their taste.
With some (Facebook users) bemoaning the lack of updates.
Get on Twitter, guys!
While Twitter users, who were more in tune with the exact delay, gave them a piece of their mind.
Arguing about train signals:
The toxicity of rain:
And legitimate frustrations:
With some giving ultimatums...
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Or just advice:
But it seems to be okay now:
Phew.
