A student captivated Singapore on Aug. 9 with a middle finger straight to the camera as the National Day Parade was winding down.

Many Singaporeans were entertained, praising him for providing much needed levity for the evening.

A few were angry at his actions, claiming they were offended by a middle finger.

School principal involved

Now, the boy's school has come out to say he had been sent for counselling.

The principal of Henry Park Primary School told The Straits Times that the boy had profusely apologised and regrets his actions.

His actions, once again, involved pointing a middle finger at a camera.

Which as some pointed out, could mean anything.
