The backstory
The lady owner is Sara, who set up Istimewa Kitchen with her fiancé, Kenneth.
As both of them wanted to venture into the F&B industry, they started up the nasi padang stall three years ago in their current location, Bedok Industrial Park E.
Since then, they've gone on to enjoy a small but loyal following, despite being out of the way from regular Bedok food haunts.
Many have raved about the authentic, humble taste, and affordable price.
Growing popularity
With the recent spotlight shone on it, Bedok's best-kept secret has since become an open one.
However, the latest news is that Istimewa Kitchen is moving soon.
Address: 3014 Bedok Industrial Park E, Singapore 489980
Phone: 9006 9947
Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday, 7am to 3pm (Closed on Sundays)
