A serious accident recorded by two dashboard cameras saw a motorcycle going at high speed on the highway before crashing into a stationary car on the extreme right lane.

According to Channel NewsAsia, the collision happened at around 10.40am on July 24, on the Seletar Expressway (SLE) towards the Bukit Timah Expressway before Lentor exit.

The 24-year-old motorcyclist and his 21-year-old pillion rider were sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital unconscious.

The first recorded footage shows the motorcycle travelling at high speed before colliding into the stationary car:

One of the men was violently flung from the vehicle, and bounced slightly from the impact before lying still in the middle of the road. The second man crashed into the back of the stationary car.

The second video was taken from the perspective of the stationary car, where the motorcyclist seemingly appeared out of nowhere and disappeared just as quickly from the force of the collision:

Both men are in intensive care with multiple fractures, and police investigations are on-going.
