Coffee shop stall in Balestier sells whole roast ducks for S$13.80

Singaporean one-upmanship at its finest.

Remember this store in Chinatown (The Duck Master) that sells a whole roast duck for S$15?

The Duck Master can move aside, because we've just found out another one in Balestier is selling a whole duck at just S$13.80 for takeaways. For customers who want it chopped, it will cost an extra dollar at S$14.80.

In case you can't see it, here are the photos from the post:

According to the Facebook post above (who attributed this to an article affixed to the store front), the owner has a duck farm in Malaysia, which means a ready supply of ducks at low prices.

However, the catch is that this isn't roasted on the spot like The Duck Master's, but the queue probably isn't as long either.

Here's where you can get your hands on some:

Address: Teck Seng Coffee shop, 588F/G Balestier Road junction of Jalan Datoh, Singapore 329899
