Before we begin: Yes, admission is free.
The Asian Civilisations Museum will be hosting a Seoul Awesome weekend festival this weekend, Jun. 17 - 18. The festival celebrates Korea with a series of programmes that allow event-goers to experience the country's culture and heritage.
Highlights include movie screenings, a variety of traditional dances and performances, dressing up in Korean costumes, as well as snacking on popcorn and bingsu, all of which are free.
Children (and an accompanying adult) can also attend workshops to learn Hangeul (the Korean alphabet) or Minhwa fan art for $10 and $15 respectively.
Attendees can also get free goodie bags by taking a photo of themselves at the Joseon Korea or Becoming Again; Coming Together exhibitions and tagging themselves @acm_sg on Instagram.
