The new flavour will be available in 7-Eleven stores island-wide progressively.

This announcement comes as a bit of a surprise as the now-unavailable milk tea flavour was pulled off shelves in August for containing L-theanine, which is not on the list of permitted food additive under the Food Regulations of Singapore.

L-theanine is commonly found in tea leaves.

It might take a year or so for the milk tea flavour to be finally approved and brought back in the country.

The biggest question for this new flavour is probably whether it was initially affected by this ban too.

Nevertheless, you can expect it to be wiped out almost immediately.
