S'poreans, you must sing this Total Defence song with Ng Eng Hen if you disagree with terrorism

Autotune, anyone?

Minister for Defence, Ng Eng Hen, has taken the fight to threats to Singapore's total defence one step further: He has lent his vocals to the updated Total Defence song.

First aired in 1984, the updated version is faster and has sweeping guitar arpeggios and a solo. The accompanying music is courtesy of the Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company and local band QuickPick. (Hi, Jack!)

Minister Ng, the only one in the video who is seen holding his headphone on one ear like a professional, sounds like he didn't use autotune.
