This 5,800-square-foot bungalow belongs to Australian-born Stephen Fisher, 50, a hedge fund manager and Singapore permanent resident.

It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and an underwater basement entertainment space.

This submerged room is surrounded by a saltwater pool that weaves its way through the inside and outside of the house, which holds 25,000 litres (66,000 gallons) of water.

The swimming lane is 21 metres long and three metres (10 feet) deep.

Fisher, who has been in Singapore since 2000, only started living on Sentosa Cove since April 2009. He lives on the leasehold property with his wife and their two children.

It was reported that he bought the 7,800 sq ft plot of land for S$3.5 million in 2005 and spent S$2.4 million on the construction of the house.

In the video, Fisher said: "I must admit, when he first put it together, the architect asked me what this room is for. And I said, 'I don't know'. This is a place for me to sit and watch the boats go by."

This video made the rounds online as early as 2013, but it appears to have gained traction again in the wake of the recent City Harvest Church trial's guilty verdict, where Pastor Kong Hee and his wife Sun Ho were fellow Sentosa Cove residents who stayed at The Oceanfront condominium.
