As the General Election 2015 proper has kicked off, buried under a tonne of Internet news and social media clutter is this tweet that said National Solidarity Party's candidate Kevryn Lim is a single mom:
#NSP Ms Kevryn Lim to champion transport, education and single mother issues. "I'm the best candidate to champion this as I'm a single mom"

The 26-year-old, who modelled in Hong Kong, Perth and Singapore and is contesting in Sembawang GRC, was initially the talk of the town after having many unmotherly photos surface online.
Now, voters are just looking forward to what she has to say during the rallies. I guess.
So, if this isn't news to you, then I don't know what is.
