Some loose stools were involved.

Last month, blogger Grace Tan had applied for a Protection Order (PO) against blogger Wendy Cheng (also known as Xiaxue).

Details of the proceeding were not known until Xiaxue published the outcome of the PO application in a blog post "I caused Grace Tan to have LOOSE STOOLS" on April 23, 2015.

Tan had applied for a Protection Order against Xiaxue after the latter commented on a Facebook post by Walter Lim (screenshots taken from Xiaxue's article):

In Xiaxue's latest blog post commenting on the PO application by Tan, she produced screenshots of Tan's blog and alleged that Tan had at first been friendly towards her at a blogging event in Nov 2014, but subsequently turned hostile towards her in Dec 2014.

Xiaxue and Tan first met at a blogging event held by Lee Kum Kee, a popular condiment brand. Tan won a blogging competition by Lee Kum Kee and was given a chance to film a cooking video with Xiaxue and popular food blogger Dr Leslie Tay.

The video was meant to promote home-cooked meals that can be done in 30 minutes. Xiaxue produced screenshots of Tan describing their meeting favourably in Nov 2014. Xiaxue took issue when Tan posted an article in Dec 2014 which insinuated that "2 very prominent bloggers in Singapore" had lied about how the meals are able to be cooked in under 30 minutes when filming "took over an hour".

The rest of the blog post consisted of Xiaxue claiming that it was Tan that had made repeated 'offensive' social media postings against Xiaxue. This was despite the fact that Tan had called for an end to cyberbullying.

At the end of the blog post, Xiaxue concluded by stating that the pre-trial conference judge had advised both parties to settle the matter out of court.

Xiaxue said that her lawyer and Tan's lawyer had agreed to the following:

Xiaxue added that her lawyers have told her that her case against Tan was 'very strong'. She added that she will not write 'any nasty stuff' about Tan 'in future' on her own volition out of goodwill.

Tan has not made a public statement on Xiaxue's post yet, but has been replying to comments left on her Facebook page. A majority of which were in relation to Xiaxue's portrayal of her in this whole saga.

Here's one of the replies:

Tan has also asked for commenters on her Facebook page to hear both sides of the story:

It is not known whether Tan will pursue further action when she said "I'll let the courts decide" since Xiaxue has claimed that Tan will have the PO dropped.
