A local designer, Catherine Leck, created a portrait on a plate using chili sauce that allegedly looks like Lee Kuan Yew some time in August 2014:

Encouraged by the positive feedback from her friends, she took her art one step further: She created a mural of Lee Kuan Yew using confetti, recorded it on video, posted it on YouTube and is now appealing for all talented people to do their own little creation with the #HappyBirthdayLKY hashtag in time for Lee Kuan Yew’s birthday on Sept. 16, where the ex-prime minister of Singapore will be 91 years old.
