Mookata, for those who are not familiar with it, is a Thai barbecue/steamboat. It looks something like this:

And if you're a fan of seafood, mookata, or eating a lot in general, there's a place in Beach Road that's just opened up.

They're called Ninja Cheese Mookata Buffet, and as part of an opening promotion, their mookata buffet slots are going at $29.90 per person.

According to their Facebook post, there are scallops, oysters, crayfish, prawns, mussels, salmon, as well as a wide variety of marinated meat, including beef shabu slices.

Drinks and ice-cream are also included.

Here are some videos of it to whet your appetite:

While it may not be the cheapest out there (some places have platters for two going for $30+), the range of seafood on offer, admittedly, makes it a pretty attractive sell — especially if you're a big eater:

Do note, however, that an additional charge of $3 will be applicable on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, eves of public holidays as well as on public holidays.

Children who are between 1 to 1.4m in height get to dine for S$15.90 nett on all days.
