You can now buy dried bouquets from a vending machine at Raffles City B1

Saving forgetful boyfriends, one bouquet at a time.

Say you need a last-minute gift for a significant other, but you're in town and you don't remember where the nearest florist is.

Fret not, for there is now a vending machine that dispenses dried bouquets — Singapore's first — at Raffles City Basement 1.

You can get a small one at $25 and fork out an extra $10 for a medium-sized bouquet.

Here's what the vending machine looks like:

And here's what's available for sale at the machine, which does look kind of spiffy for a last-minute gift option.

This is the result of a collaboration between Kalm's, the gift and greeting card store, as well as Windflower Florist, which hope to "create a stronger floral culture in Singapore through convenience and competitive price point".

Of course, we do foresee the possible situation where many a better half will passionately reject the bouquet after finding out it's been lovingly dispensed from a vending machine.

But if you're a risk-taker, or if you're sure your recipient would appreciate the gesture anyway, you can head down to Raffles City and check it out for yourself.
