Professional competitive eater Zermatt Neo ate a lot of really appetising Geylang Lorong 29 Hokkien Mee.

In a video put up on YouTube, the man with a bottomless stomach swallowed 4kg of the famed hawker food, which is equivalent to 13 plates.

Neo completed the feat in under 20 minutes.

The video starts off with a mouth-watering close-up of how the Hokkien Mee is cooked in a wok at one go, with copious amounts of prawns and squid thrown in, which makes for a really good advertisement:

And the only reason he couldn't eat more was because the stall didn't cook enough Hokkien Mee at one shot.

The 28-year-old personal trainer first made the news in 2013 when he emerged runner-up in a ramen eating competition organised by ramen specialists Ramen Champion.

He ate 11 bowls of tonkotsu ramen in 20 minutes, finishing behind Japanese celebrity competitive eater Tomoko Miyake, who consumed 20 bowls.

His YouTube channel features him eating a lot of pepperoni pizza, satay, gyozas and chicken wings.

Somehow, he still has abs:
