Singapore Science Festival 2017 at Science Centre Singapore

July 20 - August 19, 2017

This event is for real science geeks (not those who merely watch The Big Bang Theory and wear sweatshirts that say "GEEK").

Organised by the Science Centre Singapore and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), this year's edition is themed "The Future of Everybody", so that people who believe in fortune tellers might like it too.

There'll also be a Science Buskers Festival, a competition for people blessed with the ability to make science fun. Like Neil deGrasse Tyson or Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Singapore Tea Festival 2017 at ION Orchard

July 22 & 23, 10am to 10pm

If you're a tea fanatic who believes strongly that kopitiams should be called teapitiams instead, this event is for you.

The festival will feature a pop-up cafe called Teapitiam (yes, we weren't the ones who came up with that name), tea-related workshops, local tea vendors and even a tea museum.

Tea-riffic.
