Signalling fault.

Brianna is a YouTuber, staying in Singapore, who makes vlogs about her daily life.

The content she creates usually fall under a "guide to Singapore" type of style.

Her latest video though, covered a slightly different subject matter.

And there's no clickbait there either.

Here's the Stomp article she was featured in.

Brianna was understandably pleased to be on Stomp, even humorously considering it a rite of passage for her initiation as a Singaporean.

"Does that make me Singaporean yet? Is this like my welcome package to finally being welcomed here?"

However, she had some gripes with how her story was represented on the news site.

This seems to be the part of the article she had a problem with.

Specifically the part where the man in the wheelchair was laughing as the four people who carried him down the stairs.

Here's her original message.

Brianna's message takes a slightly more frustrated tone than the article might have suggested.

In the video, she points out that the man was not laughing at all, rather it was the staff member that had apparently laughed. A point she did not consider all that amusing.

She further expounded on the need for better accessibility at Tanjong Pagar MRT station. A point the article failed to touch on.

She also talked about how this particular incident has affected her perception of local media.

"Not that it's like that big of a deal, but it kinda is at the same time, because I don't really trust Stomp, anymore with their stories after they just completely twisted my words."

Brianna also touches on the state of the MRT system in Singapore, and compared it very favourably to the American subway stations.

So yay!

Here's her video. Her take on the Stomp situation ends at around the 5-minute mark.
