[UPDATED on Wednesday, June 14, at 10:30am with additional details on the case]

Videos uploaded on Facebook show what looks like a foreign domestic helper jumping from the Interlace condominium at Depot Road.

The incident was captured on at least three videos that have been making the rounds on Facebook since June 12.

In two videos, the woman could be seen perched on the ledge outside of the railings.

In one of the videos, a woman (presumably the one who was filming) was speaking to the the helper.

The speaker addressed the helper directly and repeatedly asked, "Can you understand me?"

Another man could also be heard off screen, although his speech was indistinct.

In a second video, the woman and the helper were discussing the climate back in Myanmar, which is likely where the helper was from.

The maid was responsive to the questions, offering information such as having three seasons in Myanmar and even saying there is snow in the country.

Camera footage also captured the moment of the impact, as loud gasps of onlookers could be heard.

Mothership.sg understands that the deceased is a 25-year-old woman who was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics. We also understand it's a case of unnatural death, with police investigations ongoing.
