An elderly who walked straight onto the Pan-Island Expressway and got stranded was given a lift by a helpful motorcyclist.

The incident occurred on June 12, at about 4pm, at the slip road leading to Eunos.

How the elderly man ended up on the PIE is a bit of a mystery. The post said he took the bus and missed a stop, so he tried walking straight in the direction of the overhead bridge.

This was because he was on his way to his daughter-in-law's place, which is at the end of the bridge on Eunos side.

Good thing he met the motorcyclist who stopped and gave him a lift, as well as a hand with his groceries.
