Update, June 11, 2017, 8:39pm: Facebook user Khim Chuan provided a screenshot of a Facebook post featuring what seems to be the lorry in question. According to the post, the lorry's brake function had failed and had no choice but to drive up the slope to avoid accidents.

Sometimes, it's just too hard to find a parking space in Singapore.

Previously, a random Toyota was found to be parked conveniently at a void deck in Bukit Batok, and a taxi in Jurong West found itself in a literal tight spot in January this year.

What's next, parking your vehicle right outside a HDB flat?

That's right. One dude at Hougang Avenue 10 was so determined that he could, he didn't stop to think if he should.

The driver may be fined $100 for a first-tier offence, and subsequently $150 for a second-tier offence, for parking a heavy vehicle on a grass verge of a road.

It's not clear in this photo but if the vehicle touches the footpath, it's a hefty fine of $150 for a first-tier offence and $230 for second-tier, with 3 demerit points.

According to the post, the Traffic Police have since been made known of the case and were apparently puzzled as to how the lorry got there.

Well, some Singaporeans have some explanations that are literally out of this world.
