McDelivery has just been introduced in the United States in 2017

Here's some news for you: McDonald's McDelivery service, which is as common as air in Singapore, has just been introduced as a newfangled idea to the United States. In 2017.

This has sent waves of delight across the US, while a lot of citizens from other countries worldwide are scratching their heads going, "You mean you don't have McDelivery until now?"

McDonald's has just officially announced the delivery service and it is scheduled to start on May 17.

The fast-food chain is partnering UberEATS. The servicee begins in Chicago, Los Angeles, Columbus, and Phoenix and covers most orders.

McDonald's and UberEATS began testing McDelivery in early 2017 in more than 200 restaurants throughout Florida.

The company "generated high levels of customer satisfaction," according to its press release.

The feature is available in more than 1,000 stores in select cities. The company says it plans expand to additional cities in the coming months.
