April has yet to end, but May can't come soon enough to bring balance to the Force.

Star Wars fans are in for a treat next month, as Star Wars Day approaches.

When is Star Wars Day? Well, May the Fourth (be with you) of course!

"May the 4th" Star Wars Day is an event celebrated by fans globally to mark George Lucas's creation of the highly successful movie series. The date was chosen, of course, because of its pun on the Star Wars catchphrase "May the Force be with you".

This year's Star Wars Day will also mark the 40th anniversary of the release of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.

In Singapore, a three-day celebration of the space opera will be held at Gardens By The Bay (GBTB) from May 4 to 6.
