Bracelet Lady has now become a meme.

In case you haven't heard, a shopper went into the Owndays spectacle shop at Tiong Bahru Plaza to evade a woman that had turned aggressive towards her on April 4.

Having lost her bracelet while hitting one of the staff members, the aggressive woman got even more physical, causing a commotion.

She has since been arrested and the police are investigating.

Meanwhile, on the interwebs, netizens have been having a field day.

Jumping into the fray is Maplestory, the hit client-based Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game that was the subject of many a Singaporean kid's past-time.

What does an angry Bracelet Lady got to do with an online game, you may ask?

Well, take a look at this Facebook post here from their official MaplestorySEA Facebook page.

Maybe all she needs is a rainbow bracelet in MapleStory (much prettier than the plain black one). If she asked us, we'd have gladly gotten it for her!

#Giveaway time: Special gifts for those who can:

1. Guess the poster's movie reference.

2. Share this post.

We've got 100 mystery in-game items up for grabs for 100 users!

Disclaimer: Just for some light-hearted fun only!

Yes, their latest giveaway/ marketing ploy involves the Bracelet Lady and a few key characters from the game franchise.

Don't understand the poster? First, the reference would most probably be that of the Disney movie Inside Out -- the font used and the arrangement of the characters are dead giveaways to the reference.

Secondly, of the five characters, the Bracelet Lady's face was superimposed onto that of a character that is probably akin to a lion with a red mane.

No prizes for guessing what else is red and why would the Bracelet Lady be associated with that character. (Hint: It's Anger.)

That title, though, would raise a few eyebrows -- because of the spotlight on the Bracelet Lady's race.

A few alternative phrases could also have been considered - say, Irate Shout or Infuriated Shout.

Most netizens, however, aren't debating whether this was a joke in bad taste -- they seemed more concerned with winning the in-game items.

Or, for some reason, taking the chance to complain about customer service.
