The merger of eight junior colleges (JCs) into four in 2019 will be the first time JCs are being merged in Singapore.

Previously, the Ministry of Education (MOE) had only merged schools at the primary and secondary school levels.

Quite naturally, this novel piece of news, which involves that many JCs at one go, will draw many reactions.
