Singaporeans love to eat. And there's nothing Singaporeans love to eat than meat.
According to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA), each Singaporean snarfed down an average of 77kg of meat in 2015.
That's a crazy amount, considering that the global average is 41.3kg.
Besides making you feel sluggish, a high animal-based protein diet can dehydrate your body and even lead to the formation of kidney stones.
So, it's no wonder that people are turning to alternatives, such as athletes who are turning to plants to reduce cholesterol levels and boost cardiovascular health.
Taking a plunge from meat to pure veggies might sound like a near-impossible task, so we've rounded up a list of pirated meat dishes that would ease the carnivorous side of you into the world of healthy greens.
