These guys covering Radiohead's Creep on MRT will make you float like a feather

MRT staff did think they didn't belong there, though.

Usually, the MRT isn't a big source of entertainment, save for our own technological devices.

A group of friends, however, decided to change that, albeit temporarily.

Enter busker Muhammad Firdaus Osman and his band of merry friends, who decided to play a rendition of Radiohead's most famous song Creep on the Downtown Line MRT on Feb. 14.

Despite being a little embarrassed here and there from the attention of the passengers, their performance enchanted passengers during the train's journey from Little India to Stevens station.

SBS Transit staff, on the other hand, weren't necessarily big fans of them.

According to the video's caption, they were asked to stop, but were allowed to finish that one song first.

Firdaus (the one wearing a funky tie) isn't hard up about it, choosing to see the experience as a good one with his buddies and fellow passengers.

Yup, we played Radiohead's Creep in the MRT... for fun! :-)

Eventually, the MRT staff stopped us but he was kind enough to let us finish the song. This is Singapore, they don't really appreciate the arts. Music is all about expressing yourself no matter where you are. Although we only played one song, there were a few who applauded to our performance. We really appreciate it!

Nevertheless, it was a great experience with the lads! Fyrdauz Macbeth Muhammad Rozaini Muhammad R Shaheeran Sulhan Nur Muhammad Syafiq Harith Matin

Kudos to you and your friends for spreading positivity, Firdaus!
