To celebrate their fourth anniversary, udon eatery Tamoya Udon Singapore is currently running a promotion where you can upsize your udon to large or extra large portion without any additional charge.
You heard that right. For the same price as your regular udon, you can get two to three times the amount, which is probably all the udon you ever needed in your life.
The offer is only available at their Liang Court outlet from Feb. 17 to 28.
It's not just any ordinary type of udon, it seems.
The restaurant originated from Kagawa, Japan, and they specialise in sanuki udon, which is kneaded with flour, salt and water, then paired with an unique broth soup only found at their stores.
The catch is that you won't be able to share it with a buddy as one customer has to order one portion.
Netizens were obviously pleased with the abundance of udon, and Tamoya Udon is equally enthusiastic about the promotion, as seen in the restaurant's responses to comments on Facebook.
It's pretty endearing to see them addressing commentators with the honorific suffix -san, which the Japanese use to politely refer to someone's name.
They too used kaomoji (faces made with letters and symbols, the predecessor to emojis) to illustrate the udon restaurant's apparent excitement.
If you're wondering, according to Tamoya Udon, the promotion applies to all their udons, so you don't have to wolf down plain udon and broth.
Here's a sampling of what's available at their outlets:
