Pentel S'pore issues apology for grammatically iffy post, makes grammar mistake in the apology

Pentel Singapore shared a Facebook post recently, announcing promotions on their erasers with this caption.

Which is grammatically shaky, but fundamentally hilarious.

Now many netizens mocked them on their grammatical snafu.

Choice rejoinders include the more pointed "Did you erase your grammar?" remarks, to the more subtle "Is you ok?" type of jokes.

Well, like with all mild Internet drama, the target of scorn issued a public apology.

And, to be fair to them, Pentel seemed earnest enough.

First, they commented on the post that started this whole thing.

That's awesome, nothing to see here.

But then, they decided to craft another Facebook post announcing their apology.

Now, the more observant of you might have noticed something wrong.

In fact, the very first comment pointed out the mistake straight away.

There were other potential points of contention that the Facebook comments raised.

Now, again, we're not saying it's a cardinal sin to make grammar mistakes.

But perhaps take a bit more time to craft posts? Or utilise the edit function a bit, maybe hire a social media manager, or heck, even crowd source.
