Just like that.

A viral video on Facebook shows a taxi pulling into a pick-up point at One Raffles Quay and the road was partially obstructed by a silver Mitsubishi Attrage.

The taxi sounded the horn at the Attrage and subsequently a Caucasian man who looked to be boarding the vehicle, decided to hit the taxi's window.

The taxi rolled its driver-side window down and after an inaudible exchange, the man is seen throwing a punch into the taxi.

The uploader of video Jackson Tay saw what was happening and got out of his car to try to stop the perpetrator, but he got pushed to the floor by the perpetrator as well.

When the perpetrator turned his attention to the taxi driver who had gotten out of his taxi, Tay told the driver of the Attrage to call the police. Seconds later, the Attrage is seen taking off without the passengers.

Some onlookers did eventually step forward to defuse the situation.

According to Tay, the Caucasian and his companion got away. Netizens have speculated that the Attrage was a private hire vehicle.

Reactions to the video largely slammed the Caucasian man, rehashing the foreigner-bashing us-versus-them rhetoric.
